Advice for family caregivers
We do not leave you alone as a caring relative. Our GFO care service Olpe District - Outpatient Care & Support supports you with our expert advice. Because the rules and regulations of the nursing care insurance are complicated and not always easy to see through and understand. We are therefore happy to help you gain an overview, which is why we offer consultation visits in accordance with the Long-Term Care Insurance Act (§37 Para. 3 SGB XI). These are aimed at people
- who care for relatives at home
- receive care allowance for this
- and do not make use of additional services of a nursing service.
With the receipt of care allowance from the care insurance, caring relatives are obliged to conduct counseling sessions and to hire a care service for this purpose. The legislator has specified the following intervals for this:
- for care level 1: every six months (optional)
- for care degrees 2 and 3: every six months (mandatory)
- for care level 4 and 5: quarterly (mandatory)
